- Taking immediate action against any form of exploitation or coercion

Core Principle: Every creator has the right to freedom of choice, fair treatment, full transparency, and the ability to walk away from any business relationship at any time without penalty or pressure.

2. Legal and Regulatory Framework

We do not employ creators. We connect independent creators with independent account managers through an introduction service.

Creator Rights in Our Model:

- Complete autonomy over whether to work with any account manager

- Right to terminate any relationship at any time without penalty

- Full control over content creation, posting schedules, and pricing

- Ownership of all content and intellectual property

- Freedom to choose which services to use (if any)

No Exploitation Indicators

Our business model specifically excludes all indicators of exploitation:

- We never charge creators application fees

- We never charge creators for introductions

- Account managers in our network must not require upfront payments that create debt obligations

✓ Freedom of Movement and Communication

- Creators can leave any relationship at any time

- Creators maintain control of their own accounts and passwords

- No isolation from support systems or outside contact

✓ Transparent Terms

- All commission structures must be clearly explained

- No hidden fees or surprise deductions

- Creators receive regular, accurate payment information

✓ No Threats or Coercion

- No psychological manipulation or threats

- No withholding of earnings or content

- No threats of exposure or reputational harm

4. Due Diligence and Network Vetting

Account Manager Standards

Account managers in our network must:

- Operate transparently with clear, written agreements

- Respect creator autonomy and consent

- Provide accurate information about services and costs

- Process payments fairly and on time

- Allow creators to terminate relationships freely

- Maintain professional boundaries

Red Flags We Monitor

We actively watch for warning signs of exploitation:

- Managers requiring creators to hand over complete account control

- Withholding earnings or creating unexplained payment delays

- Pressure tactics or manipulation to accept unfavorable terms

- Isolation tactics (cutting off creator's outside communication)

- Threats related to content, reputation, or personal information

- Requirements for excessive work hours or unrealistic quotas

- Controlling behavior or psychological manipulation

Our Response Process

When we identify concerning behavior:

- Immediate Investigation: Review reported concerns within 48 hours

- Creator Protection: Ensure creator safety and support

- Evidence Gathering: Document all relevant information

- Action: Suspend or terminate relationships with violators

- Follow-up: Monitor situation and provide ongoing creator support

5. Third-Party Manager Accountability

Important Clarification: Lookstars Agency operates as an introduction service. We connect creators with account managers, but we do not employ these managers or control their day-to-day operations.

Scope of Our Responsibility

What We Are Responsible For:

- Conducting reasonable due diligence on managers before introductions

- Setting clear ethical standards for our network

- Investigating reports of misconduct

- Removing managers who violate ethical standards from our network

- Providing support channels for creators

What We Are Not Responsible For:

- Day-to-day management decisions made by independent account managers

- Individual agreements between creators and managers (we are not a party to these contracts)

- Direct employment relationships between managers and their team members

- Legal compliance of third-party managers in all jurisdictions

When Issues Are Reported

If a creator reports serious concerns about a manager in our network:

- We investigate promptly and thoroughly

- We take action against managers found to violate ethical standards

- We remove violators from our network permanently

- We cooperate with law enforcement when appropriate

- We support affected creators in finding ethical alternatives

However, creators should also:

- Report serious violations directly to local authorities

- Seek legal advice regarding their individual contracts with managers

- Document all evidence of exploitation or abuse

6. Client and Partner Standards

All clients, agencies, and partners who work with us or appear in our network must:

- Operate with complete transparency

- Respect creator autonomy and consent

- Prohibit any form of coercion, manipulation, or exploitation

- Ensure fair payment practices

- Allow creators to terminate relationships freely

- Maintain accurate records and honest communications

- Comply with all applicable labor and human trafficking laws

Immediate Termination Policy: We terminate relationships immediately with any partner found to engage in:

- Modern slavery or human trafficking

- Coercion or manipulation

- Non-consensual content creation or distribution

- Financial exploitation or wage theft

- Psychological abuse or threats

- Any criminal activity

We do not make exceptions based on revenue or relationship duration.

7. Reporting Mechanisms and Creator Support

How to Report Concerns

Resolution:

- Take action against violators (suspension, termination, reporting to authorities)

- Follow up with reporter on outcome (respecting confidentiality)

- Implement preventive measures to avoid future incidents

Confidentiality and Protection

- All reports are treated confidentially

- We protect reporter identity to the fullest extent possible

- No retaliation against reporters for good faith concerns

- Creators who report concerns receive ongoing support
